Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği (MİB) ilk kez Dünya Mücevher Konfederasyonu gibi önemli bir uluslararası kuruluşa üye olarak Türkiye’nin küresel anlamda söz sahibi olmasını sağladı. Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği Başkanı Burak Yakın ile CIBJO Başkanı Gaetano Cavalieri, Vicenzaoro Küresel Fuarlar Direktörü Marco Carnelio ile birlikte Türk Mücevher Sektörü açısından çok önemli bir memorandumu imzalayarak Türkiye’nin Dünya Mücevher Konfederasyonu üyelik sürecini tamamladılar. Türkiye’nin en yüksek katma değerli ihracatına imza atan Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği bu üyelikle dünyanın mücevher sektöründe sözü geçen ülkeleri arasında yer aldı.
İtalya’da düzenlenen Vicenzaoro Mücevher Fuarına katılan Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği Başkanı Burak Yakın, CIBJO üyeliğini gerçekleştiren anlaşmayı imzalarken bu anlaşmanın hem Türk Mücevher Sektörü açısından hem de CIBJO aşısından tarihi bir önemi olduğunu vurguladı. Dünyanın en önemli üretici ülkelerinden birisi olan Türkiye’nin üyeliğinin CIBJO’ya çok değerli katkılar sağlayacağını anlatan Yakın sözlerine şöyle devam etti:
“Üyeliğin ayrıca Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği’nin, dünyadaki önemine yakışır şekilde, uluslararası standartların belirlenmesinde, tüketici güveninin sağlanmasında, sürdürülebilirlik projelerinde söz sahibi olmasında önemli bir adım olduğunu düşünüyorum. Türkiye’nin en yüksek katma değerli ihracatına sahip olan Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği, bu üyelikle mücevher sektöründe dünyada çok daha etkin sözü geçen ülkeler arasında yerini aldı.”
CIBJO Başkanı Gaetano Cavalieri de dünya mücevher sektörünün en önemli üreticilerinden birisi olan Türkiye’nin üyeliğinin CIBJO’nun gücüne güç katacağını ve Türkiye’nin sektöre önemli katkılar sağlayacağına inandığını belirtti.
CIBJO, dünya çapında özellikle pırlanta ve değerli taşlı mücevher alışverişinde kalite ve güvenlik standartlarını belirleyen çalışmalar yapıyor. Bu nedenle CIBJO üyeliği Türk Mücevher Sektörü ürünlerine daha yüksek katma değer sağlayacak. Bir yandan da Türkiye ilk kez üyesi olduğu CIBJO sayesinde uluslararası standartların belirlenmesinde de söz sahibi olarak gücünü arttırıyor.
he Jewellery Exporters’ Association (MIB) has enabled Turkey to have a global say by becoming a member of an important international organization such as the World Jewellery Confederation for the first time. Burak Yakın, President of the Jewelry Exporters Association, Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO, together with Marco Carnelio, Director of Vicenzaoro Global Fairs, signed a very important memorandum for the Turkish Jewelry Sector and completed Turkey’s membership process in the World Jewelry Confederation. Jewelry Exporters Association, which Decrees the highest value-added exports of Turkey, took place among the mentioned countries in the jewelry sector of the world with this membership.
Burak Yakın, President of the Jewelry Exporters Association, who participated in the Vicenzaoro Jewelry Fair held in Italy, stressed that this agreement is of historical importance both for the Turkish Jewelry Sector and for the CIBJO vaccine when signing the agreement that makes CIBJO membership. Explaining that the membership of Turkey, one of the most important producing countries in the world, will provide very valuable contributions to CIBJO, Yakın continued his words as follows:
“I also think that membership is an important step for the Jewelry Exporters Association to have a say in setting international standards, ensuring consumer confidence, and sustainability projects, as befits its importance in the world. The Jewelry Exporters Association, which has the highest value-added exports of Turkey, took its place among the countries that are much more influential in the jewelry sector in the world with this membership. Dec.”
Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO, stated that he believes that the membership of Turkey, one of the most important producers of the world jewelry sector, will strengthen the strength of CIBJO and that Turkey will make significant contributions to the sector.
CIBJO conducts studies that determine quality and safety standards around the world, especially in the exchange of diamonds and gemstones. For this reason, CIBJO membership will provide higher added value to the products of the Turkish Jewelry Sector. On the one hand, Turkey is increasing its power by having a say in the determination of international standards thanks to the CIBJO, of which it is a member for the first time.
