The Turkish pavilion will take place at the Jewelery & Gem WORLD Singapore (JGW Singapore), one of the world’s three largest jewelery fairs, held between 27 – 30 September, with the participation of 64 companies. For the first time, Turkey will participate in the Jewelers International Showcase Fall – Miami (JIS FALL – MIAMI), the second largest fair of the USA, held on September 30 – October 3.
The goal is to get ahead of Italy and India
Bringing together jewelery manufacturers and industry stakeholders from more than 30 countries of the world in Far Asia, JGW Singapore is being held for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic. Turkey is participating in the fair held at Singapore Expo with the Turkish pavilion established on an area of 606 m2. Noting that Far Asia is an important market for Turkey, Jewelery Exporters’ Association Chairman Burak Yakin stated that JGW Singapore is an important event for the promotion of Turkish jewellery. “We aim to achieve significant increases in exports to Asian countries, especially Hong Kong. In 2022, Hong Kong is the third country to which we export the most. At the same time, we accelerated our initiatives to get ahead of India, Italy, United Arab Emirates and Japan, which we are competing to dominate the Asian market.”

Noting that the USA is the third country to which the Turkish jewelery industry exports the most in 2022, Yakin drew attention to the importance of Turkey’s participation in JIS FALL – MIAMI, which is the second largest jewelery fair in the country, and said: It ranks 3rd in exports to Turkey. This puts an important responsibility on us. Miami is the gateway to South America and the Caribbean in the jewelry trade.
Therefore, it is very important for us to promote the value and quality of Turkish jewelry among more than 600 local and international exhibitors who come to Miami and bring them together with buyers. We believe that they will contribute significantly to increasing our market share here.”
