Mücevherin ticaret ışıltısı bu kez Nisan’da parlayacak

Dünyanın en büyük beş mücevher fuarı arasında yer alan ve Türkiye’nin bu alandaki ilk ve tek uluslararası ihtisas buluşması olan Istanbul Jewelry Show, ilk kez yeni tarihinde ve yeni günlerinde düzenlenecek. 17 – 20 Nisan 2024 tarihlerinde Çarşamba’dan Cumartesi’ye dört gün sürecek Istanbul Jewelry Show, Doğu Avrupa’dan Yakın Doğu’ya, Rusya’dan Kuzey Afrika’ya, BDT Ülkelerinden Orta Doğu’ya kadar tüm mücevher sektörü profesyonellerini 55. kez İstanbul Fuar Merkezi’nde buluşturacak.

Mücevher sektörü, 2023 yılının Ocak-Kasım döneminde 6.9 milyar dolarlık ihracata imza atarken, bu rakamın büyük bir kısmı Istanbul Jewelry Show’da gerçekleşti. Fuar, sektörün 2024 ticaretinde de yine önemli bir rol üstlenecek. Informa Markets tarafından yılda iki defa düzenlenen Istanbul Jewelry Shhow’da; altın, mücevher, pırlanta, renkli taş, değerli ve yarı-değerli taş, inci, gümüş, gümüş takı ve gümüş ev eşyası, altın montür, rafineri, saat, kalıp, vitrin dekorasyon, makine-ekipman ve yan sanayi, kasa, yazılım, lojistik ile aydınlatma gibi ürün grupları bir arada sergilenecek. Nisan ayında gerçekleştirilecek olan fuarda, 1.500’den fazla firma ve marka ile 140’dan fazla ülkeden 33.500’i aşkın ziyaretçinin ağırlanması bekleniyor.

 Mücevher dünyası, Nisan ayında kapılarını açmaya hazırlanan Istanbul Jewelry Show’a odaklandı. Yurt içi ve yurt dışından gelen sektör profesyonelleri, binlerce yıllık Anadolu kültür mirasından ilham alan en özel Türk tasarımlarını fuarda bir arada görebilme fırsatı bulurken, gelecek sezonlara dair en yeni koleksiyonları da çeşitli ülkelerden uluslararası pavyonlarda keşfedebilecek.

 

Geleceğin mücevher trendleri fuarda şekillenecek

 Istanbul Jewelry Show, dört gün boyunca yeni işbirlikleri ve ticaret anlaşmalarına zemin hazırlamakla kalmayacak, aynı zamanda söktürün tasarım trendlerini belirleyen etkinliklere de ev sahipliği yapacak. Bu kapsamda, Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği ve Istanbul Jewelry Show’un ortak projesi olan “Designer Club” ile takı tasarımcıları ve ustaları, ürettikleri tasarım ve takıları özel bir alanda sergileyerek, koleksiyonlarını mücevher sektörünün beğenisine sunacak. Fuarda ayrıca Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği ve Istanbul Jewelry Show iş birliğinde “Art for Jewellery – Inspiration Hub” etkinliği düzenlenecek. Farklı projelerle sanatın ve sanatçıların mücevher sektörüne katkıda bulunmasını amaçlayan etkinlik kapsamında, dünyanın 1 numaralı trend öngörü firması WSGN de, sektöre dair yeni trendleri açıklayacak.

The Istanbul Meeting of the World Jewelry Sector Ends with a Record!

The Istanbul Jewelry Show, sponsored by Elmas Kule and organized by Informa Markets, brought together the global jewelry sector for the 54th time from October 5 to 8. The biannual fair, which contributes positively to exports, set new records this year in terms of the number of participants, exhibition space, and the number of visitors by hosting the largest October fair. The products and services of over 1,000 firms and brands were presented to more than 26,000 industry professionals from 136 different countries. Foreign buyers accounted for 40% of the total visitors. Through simultaneous events, panels, and bilateral meetings, interaction and information flow were facilitated in the industry. The Istanbul Jewelry Show will once again gauge the industry’s pulse from April 17 to 20, 2024.

 

The Istanbul Jewelry Show, among the world’s top 5 jewelry fairs, sponsored by Elmas Kule and organized by Informa Markets, took place for the 54th time at the Istanbul Fair Center from October 5th to 8th, 2023. The fair showcased the products and services of over 1,000 companies and brands to more than 26,000 visitors from 136 different countries. In addition to providing opportunities for collaboration during meetings, the fair offered a unique knowledge-sharing experience through concurrent events.

Held twice a year, the fair hosted the largest October edition ever, breaking records not only in terms of exhibition space but also in terms of visitor attendance. Compared to October 2022, there was a 38% increase in visitors from South American countries, a 31% increase from North American countries, including the United States, and a 10% increase in visitors from Asian countries.Sponsored by Model Kuyum Merkezi, serving as the Buyers Lounge sponsor, the fair covered a wide range of product groups, including gold, jewelry, diamonds, colored stones, precious and semi-precious stones, pearls, silver, silver jewelry and household items, gold mounts, refineries, watches, molds, showcase decoration, machinery and equipment, auxiliary industry, safes, software, logistics, and lighting.

The Jewelry Sector Was Approached from Different Perspectives

The Istanbul Jewelry Show, bringing together the global jewelry sector for four days on a single platform, received great acclaim not only for its products and services but also for its events providing information flow to the industry. Within the scope of the fair, the ‘Art For Jewellery – Inspiration Hub’ brought together art and jewelry, while an event titled “Timeless Elegance – Inspirations from Classic to Artificial Intelligence” merged iconic designs of a bygone era, classic cars, with artificial intelligence. The fair hosted seminars by prominent figures. Accordingly, on the first day of the fair, a session on “Secrets of Success in Social Media and Digitalization in the Jewelry Industry” was organized with the participation of global jewelry influencers. While the effects of social media on the jewelry industry were discussed in-depth, important information was shared for those looking to grow their business in the digital realm. On the second day of the fair, a seminar that determined the industry’s trends took place. Attendees, including both local and international participants, gained critical insights into consumer behavior preferences, delivered by Seden Ünlü, the Sales Manager of WGSN Turkey.The third day of the fair aimed to support sustainability in the jewelry sector and create awareness on this matter with a seminar titled “Why Sustainability is Vital in Jewelry,” featuring Melanie Grant, the Executive Director of the Responsible Jewelry Council, as a speaker. During the opening of the fair, the Export Leaders Awards Ceremony honored the companies that had the highest exports in 2022. On the third day, the winners of the 13th Jewelry Design Competition, organized by the Jewelry Exporters’ Association, were presented with their awards. Additionally, the Jewelry Exporters’ Association and the joint project of the Istanbul Jewelry Show, Designer Club, showcased jewelry designers and artisans who exhibited their designs and jewelry at a special booth.

Next year, for the first time, we will organize our fair in April, from April 17th to 20th, 2024. Additionally, for the first time, our fair will commence on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday.

Sustainability is a Part of the Fair

The Istanbul Jewelry Show, aware of the increasing importance of sustainability for the industry as a whole, undertakes various responsibilities to enhance social, environmental, and economic impacts in collaboration with participants and visitors. Within the scope of the fair, several green initiatives have been implemented to reduce carbon emissions.
